Best Fitted Diaper
I have used both Kissaluvs size 1 & 2 with my son, from age 6 months - 2 years. He has never leaked! I never had a problem with drying them - perhaps because I live in a dry climate. My husband loves them too, so they are all we used. Buy them new at about each. I used 2 dozen at a time.

My son is such a wiggle worm that I recently bought a few fuzzi bunz pocket diapers. I like them better for his age (2-3 years) because I don't have to wrestle a diaper AND a cover on him. However, they are pricey at each.

I'm having a baby this month and bought a dozen size 0 - I will need at least another dozen - but they grow out of them so quickly. I have heard they are THE best infant diaper. High resale value as well.

Awesome!
Kissaluvs are the best! They keep baby dry while being incredibly breathable. Baby's skin doesn't get red like it does with disposable diapers. Also great for keeping in those wonderful breastmilk poops.

wonderful!
These are great if you're looking into buying cloth diapers, very soft and cushy!

A great way to start with cloth
I had never even seen a baby in cloth diapers before, but I wanted to start, so I ordered this kit. It has 36 unbleached prefolds, 6 diaper covers, 2 rolls of flushable liners, and an instruction book. The book is great - shows you step by step what you need to do to wash, use, and store the dirty diapers. You have to wash the prefold diapers 3 times before using - they get a lot smaller and softer as they go through the wash and dry cycles. I've been so happy with their absorbancy, ease of use, and cost. Even my husband was pleasantly surprised by how easy the switch was (this is our 3rd child and the first 2 were all disposables). When you think of a pack of diapers costing , this kit is pretty cheap. We may "upgrade" to the all-in-one diapers as our newborn gets larger and outgrows the covers(she's only 8 weeks old and 11 lbs.), but for the next couple of months, this is all we need. I would recommend them for anyone thinking of moving to cloth to "go green" and save some money.

Great beginning to cloth diapering
This kit is wonderful. It comes with all the cloth inserts you could possibly need as well as plenty of covers. I do my cloth diaper laundry only once a week. My daughter leaks constantly with disposables and has not had one leak with these. The instructions on washing come with the kit and are very easy (you have to wash them a few times before use).

No more disposables
My son has not had a messy leak since we started using these. I put him in disposables one time after buying cloth and the diaper basically exploded as soon as he had a movement. I have only used a disposable once since then and it was for half an hour while his diaper covers were drying.

These are fantastic.

The BEST cloth diaper!
I have the unbleached size 2's for my little boy, and both my husband and I love them. Most of the time we don't even use a cover because our little guy runs around in just a diaper (and shirt), and we change him when he pees. During hot weather we put him to bed in a kissaluv with a Stacinator So Simple wool cover, and he doesn't get all funky sweaty as he nurses to sleep. But then we use Bumgenius 2.0 with a diaper doubler for the rest of the nighttime diapers. Works AWESOME.

So if you are new to cloth diapering, I know it can be very overwhelming to choose what kind of "system" you will be most comfortable with. Well, Kissaluv fitted diapers are probably *the* best diaper for newborn thru potty training...which is why of allll the diapers out there, these finally made it to Amazon. I really like the snaps, so no scratching from velcro. And you *really* do get a custom fit with the snaps, something I was totally skeptical of. The elastic is very gentle, yet holds well. I wish we had these during the newborn explosive poo stage. I would recommend the Bummis Super Snap cover if you don't want to use wool. Bummis covers can be washed and dried with your diapers. And once again, no velcro (unless you get the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap, which as the name implies does NOT whisper when unhooking the velcro). Snaps are super handy when is comes to washing, because with velcro you have to fasten all the tabs before laundering...not a huge deal, but still just one more thing.

Washing is REALLY easy. Way easier than driving to Target to buy disposables =) If your baby is exclusively breastfed (so, at least 6 months and younger) then you do *not* need to dispose of the poo in the toilet first (when your baby is older, a diaper sprayer works well for this). Breastmilk poo is water soluble! To wash your diapers, set the water to cold and do a pre-rinse at the highest water level (for a full load). Then set to hot/cold and add 3 tablespoons powder Tide, with an extra rinse. All done. I dry my diapers on medium...or if its really hot out I line dry them. But be warned, they can take all day to dry outside. You can fluff them in the dryer if line drying makes them stiff.

How many will you need? For newborn, I'd say 50-60. Yeah, sounds like a lot...but you will be changing diapers 20-25 times per day, and this way you can do laundery every other day. Really expensive you say? You'll spend this much on disposables...and at least your baby will be way more comfortable not wearing plastic. Besides, you can sell them on eBay to make some $$ back, or use 'em for the next kid. The Size 0 lasts quite awhile, so you will definitely get your money's worth. You will need at least 6-8 covers. You don't need to wash covers every time, unless they get poo on them. Just let them dry and rotate use. This is why I like wool, for its antimicrobial properties.

I really hope this helps you make the choice to use cloth diapers. Cloth diapering is a huge investment, but it really pays off. Our diapers are probably the biggest-ticket items we bought for baby (we bought a lot of bumgenius 2.0 as well), but we didn't spend money on other things such as a crib, nursery decor, or formula.

Better than the other brands, my daughter LOVES them
These are my daughter's favorite overnight pants. We've used store brands, which we both hate, and we've used GoodNights. We like the Goodnights pants, they work well. But she really, REALLY likes the way these UnderJams fit, feel and look. We've never had any leaking problems with them. I saw a negative review on the size Large girl's Underjams from a mom who said they leaked horribly. However, she stated her child is 62 pounds, which is sort of in between sizes and the Larges were probably too big. The smaller size probably would have worked great for her since they go up to 65 pounds. My daughter is tall & skinny at 50 pounds & these UnderJams work perfectly for her. Now when she's low on night pants, she asks me to buy specifically UnderJams instead of anything else. I love that she actually feels good about wearing these pants! UnderJams are the best!
